This event is part of the Learning Planet Festival!
During this event, Annick de Witt will present the transformative learning approach that we have developed in the past five years in close collaboration with Utrecht University, as well as the facilitator training that supports educators, trainers, and coaches to use it in their own contexts.
This approach, called the Worldview Journey, supports learners to explore, exchange, and expand their worldviews, while developing important capabilities like self-reflection, listening, and connectedness. It uses a range of transformative learning methods, like journaling and dialogue practices, and includes several potent learning activities, like a worldview test, worldview interview, and a guided nature walk. The approach is supported by excellent learning resources, like a travel journal, lecture videos, and learner platform, and may therefore be used by other educators and trainers with relative ease. In other words, the approach has been designed to scale! It can be used in a wide range of learning- and change-contexts, but is particularly suitable for higher education, (young) adult education, and life long learning education.
The event will consist of a short, lively presentation, followed up by space for questions, discussion, and exchange. Come hang out with us, so you can ask your questions, meet your instructors, and get a sense of this exciting program!
