In this Worldview Cafe we’ll explore the idea of “Generative Dialogue” both in theory and in practice. We’ll first reflect on what Generative Dialogue is and how it’s different from debate, discussion, and discourse. We’ll then break into small groups to play with controversial topics and experiment with how we may be able to come to a more generative exchange between them.
Btw, we define generative dialogue as “conversations that foster a respectful exchange of perspectives, enhance relationships, and produce novel insights.”
